Edwin McCain came to campus Friday...first time I had seen him live, it was a pretty good show. He's got a great voice, even if it is pop music...

UNC vs. Wisconsin, Saturday 9-17-05

Ben can't contain his enthusiam...football season is finally here!

Ramses led the team from the Old Well.

the team walking past the band...

Stephen H cooked up some grub for a little 'tailgating' party -- minus the car. Looks like they've got a way to go, Steve.

Tar Heels warming up

These guys were with Carolina Fever. 'Nuff said.

The band takes the field...

...and then quickly hurries off, as fans follow suit. Due to a nearby lighting storm, we were told to leave our seats and go to the concourse area. Nothing ended up happening, save a lot of booing, and kick-off was only delayed by 15 minutes.

The moon was pretty cool looking early on. A lot of other bored people near me thought so as as well, paying more attention to it than the game for a while, as it was slightly less that exciting, as the score reflects; the Tar Heels trailed 3-7 at halftime.
Things got a lot more exciting at halftime, though, as last year's NCAA National Champions were presented with their rings.

Rashad McCants, in case you didn't know

Got Roy? We do.

Raymond Felton

Watching the 'One Shining Moment' video, recapping the season. That was pretty cool, hearing the reaction of the 60,000+ people there.

Coach Williams presenting a ring to Felton

I don't think many people left to get food at halftime...

David Noel..what a playa (player?)

Posing for the camera...

And finally, this took the cake for the night. One of the guys from IV said he had been dreaming of doing this for quite awhile.

Hope you enjoyed this as much as I did...
